Hi people, I have about 5 limited accounts and one Admin on my computer.

99% of the time, I use my account (the admin acount)

When I turned on my computer today, and entered in my password to log into my account, the "logging in" bar animated and then the entire screen turned completely blue (the same blue as the background in the login screen) and then just went back to the login screen.

I can go into all the accounts, except mine.

I tried repairing the permissions, using DiskWarrior and Norton Utilities.

What can I do?

I can't think of what caused this... I normally just do hw and listen to mp3's. Yesterday, I installed the Apple Security Update, but I doubt that's the problem.

System info:

Mac OS 10.2.4
Dual1 GHz Quicksilver

oops... can a mod move this to the questions / tips forum

How about booting into your account with sudo from another account to verify that it is still active?

if you can, move your user's preferences folder out of your library, this has fixed this on more than one occassion for me. Usually it is just one file causing the problem, you can sort it all out from there.
