Ripping Movies!

Can anyone tell me what's the best app to use to rip .flv (flash) and .rmvb (realplayer) to any ther format?
>Preferably freeware.

There is nothing about that will encode real player movies into something else. I've used ffmpegx to turn a realplayer into an avi using a very specific encoder that I can't remember but the results were not very good.

iSquint can convert FLV to MPEG-4.

So iSquint for flv? Does the sound get unsynchronised???

And why's it impossible to do realplayer movies?

Not impossible, there just isn't a program that will do it.

Then technically it is impossible!
How about a windows app?
