Hey,
So, is it possible? Can I use my iMac as a display for my n64? Is there some kindof adapter out there? thanks!

Not without extra equipment. Try http://elgato.com/index.php?file=products_eyetv250
It's used for watched TV on your mac, but it will allow you to plug another device into it and display it on screen. My EyeTV 200 works great.

The only problem I could see with things liek the Elgato is a lag problem.

The picture quality will be better on a cheap television with A/V inputs. Plus if your LCD monitor doesn't have built in speakers you'll need to work around that too.

The only problem I could see with things liek the Elgato is a lag problem.
The 250 is advertized with "zero latency". They market this at console gamers. My 200 has some lag issues, but the 250 is supposed to fix this. The 250 looks like a really solid device.

wow, those eyetv's are pretty cheap
will the 250 record HD? is all you need an hd antenna? i have one, wouldnt mind being able to record another local HD show, while my tivo records one.
the laptop one looks really nice the hybird. and cheaper. any thoughts?
