I'm looking for recommendations on an inexpensive USB headset for VOIP, some occasional gaming, listening to music/audio, and for possibly using the voice control features on my mac. I don't want spend over 50 dollars on such a headset.

I appreciate the help.

You just missed out on a deal for the Logitech USB Headset 350 at one of the office stores. I've had one for several months and really like it.

If you can afford more, get a Sennheiser headset for better sound and comfort. They come in audio sets with a USB adapter but if you like great sound, they're definitely worth the price.

This "Amigo" from Turtle Beach is great. I've been using it for a while and it sounds and works great. It comes with a headset, but the USB interface can accept other headsets--very handy when I crunched my original :).

It's $49.

Oh yeah... Although they don't say so, It works on Mac, although the control panel is PC only.

It might not be what you're looking for but if you're going to spend 50 bucks on a USB headset why don't you spend like 10 more and get a bluetooth one.

Are there stereo Bluetooth headsets for $60?

I'm not a big fan of bluetooth headsets. I leave BT for the mice and keyboards really, and even then I don't use my BT for that either lol

I ordered a Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 from Amazon ($15 off there). Hopefully it will be as good as they say.

Instead of a headset I'd recommend a handset.

Feels more natural for VoIP. Check out www.ipevo.com

Yeah, that's really good when you're playing a first person shooter.
