WTB: Mini DVI to VGA adapter

I need a Mini DVI to VGA adapter for my MacBook. It's the same one from the 12" PowerBook G4's.

Let me know if you have one. Used or New is fine as long as it works. I can pay via PayPal immediately.

Warning: There are mini-DVI adapters from Apple that won't fit in your laptop. I recently bought a mini-DVI to Video Adapter in the 5th Avenue store and it just wasn't a mini-DVI but something else. The people at the store were quite puzzled when I brought it back saying "That's not a mini-DVI connector". Watch out for people trying to sell you these :)

Probably because it was really mini-VGA, like on the old eMacs, iMacs, iBooks, and the Revision A 12" PowerBooks.

Yeah, you probably got a Mini VGA to VGA adapter. The people in the store think if you want VGA, you must have an iBook or something that has mini VGA. They DO make a Mini DVI to VGA adapter though, that's what I need.

There are 3-4 on Ebay right now ranging from $5-$15. I know Apple sells them for $19 free shippping as well. Just to let you know if you don't get anyone that has an extra. Good Luck

I only see 2 on eBay and and one of them is at $17 already. Oh, I was bidding on some a few days ago and most of them ended in the high 20's...make a ton of sense.

Makes sense. I made a picture with the Macbook befor returining it. But it was in the package for the mini-DVI ones. :-)

Yeah, that's Mini VGA. Mini DVI is like double that thick.
