Printing in Scotland?

Has anybody got recomendations for a good quality printer with reasonable prices in or around Edinburgh? I have a few years worth of pics to go through and I would like to get the best ones printed to go on the wall. Also, recomendations for a place to get old slides/prints digitised? There are lots of mail-order outfits advertised but I have no idea what the quality of service and product is from these places so was hoping to hear of other people's experiences. I got some stuff done at Jessops a while ago and was dissapointed. Thanks in advance.

ive been uing 'minuteman press' in glasgow and coatbridge for prints and they were excellent for quality and good for price. might be worth giving the edinburgh ones a call, as they are all franchises and do different things...
