iRoster lets you see what type of rendezvous advertising is going on around you. Most fun on a campus or in an office. It lets you see http, afp, ftp, smb, etc. enabled on computers around you.
I use it in the Dock like a shortcut bar to the file-sharing computers near me.
Cool toy, and shareware.

These three utils are must have. They cost 10 dollars a piece but well worth it.
FruitMenu 3.0.1
FruitMenu is a haxie that customizes and enhances Apple and contextual menus in Mac OS X.
Labels X 1.1.1
Labels X is a haxie that adds file labeling features and allows you to use labels from Mac OS 9
WindowShade X 2.1.2
WindowShade X is a haxie that brings WindowShade functionality back to Mac OS X.
Download all three at www.unsanity.com

No one has said anything about ASM? My goodness, it's only the best utility for OS X! It's worth every penny, too!

This piece of software greatly helped the transition from OS 9 to OS X. I consider it to be indispensible.

I wouldn't suggest using RDC for games!! Or even video or audio. Because of the limited bandwidth connecting you to the PC, it wouldn't look okr sound too good :)
It's perfectly usable for some things though - I use it for kazaa, file organising, burning (my DVD burner is installed in my PC) and so on.
If yo'ure building a gaming box, use the gaming box for gaming :D

yea, I believe you can run games, But you would need a 802.11g Card, a 802.11g router, and a 802.11g card for your mac = 54mgs/sec transfering rate.
(11mgs/sec is just not enough it feels almost like VPC, but a tad faster. 11mgs/sec is standard 802.11a

Heres what you would Need to get the most out of Remote Desktop Connection
http://www.linksys.com/splash/wmp54g_splash.asp [your Ethernet Pc Card (802.11g )
http://www.linksys.com/splash/wap54g_splash.asp [Router (802.11g )
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/72007/wo/S96CZYYieIn12ZSwqBM7tKvPZa9/2.3.0.3.27.8 [Airport Extream Card (802.11g )< thats if u have a powerbook, for Imac users and Powermac I think you can buy the card at the apple store or order it online, the new updated imacs and powermacs are all equipted with 802.11g cards.
and thats all you need.
-you do not need to get linksys cards/routers theres many other company's have the same technology such as D-link etc. And Good Luck and pease post how everything worked out
