Welcome to Mylife, a new typle of blog that I have started wherein 7 people all write in a collective blog. The idea of which is that through all this a story will emerge, showing the differences, similaries, struggles and triumphs of all the members over the course of a year. Think the movie crash, where 7 peoples lives, all unconnected, slowly tied into each other. That is the point of Mylife.

Three Months into Mylife and We have seen over 5,500 hits, over 140 stories and near 100,000 world collectively lived by the 7 people that reside in Mylife (the site). Check er out...

Seems like a fun project.

My students are going to work on a similar project, but we're not pushing it out to the interwebs -- what makes internet publication interesting is that, supposedly, there's no taking it back. You've published what you've published, and you move on.

I'll be checking back to see how you folks are doing.

Cool idea. It will certainly bring a new dimension to blogging.
Good Luck!

Hi, just a suggestion for the blog...

On the front page, I find it excruciatingly annoying how it only provides a preview or intro to each post and then requires you to move onto another page to see the rest of it. I personally prefer to have everything right in front of me with only a scroll bar separating me from more information. Maybe I'm just lazy, but I can't be bothered to click through seven links to read about seven people I don't know :o

But yeah, it's a very interesting concept. I hope it takes off for you :)

I'm a bit confused. Do these 7 people know each other? Are you the one writing for 7 different characters, i.e. are you developing a story over a year? Or is this really 7 different people tells us about their day to day lives? If so, how to you know they will all end up intertwined?

I'm confused! Sounds interesting none-the-less!

All 7 Different People (Most of them know nothing of the others)
Mark, Ryan and Justin know each other, but the rest know nothing of the others beyond what is written in this blog.
