After all the initial bad press related to them ripping the code from Transmission along with not crediting them, and not being open-source, it looks like they've correct both of those over-sights 🙂

After having a quick play with it, it looks like it could finally be the uTorrent for Mac client we've all been after 😀

If it has the lightweight and easy breasy usabiliity of Transmission, and the torrent stat tracking and features of AZ, then I'm sold....


We'll see.

Amen. They make a big deal about a pleasing interface, but include nothing to back it up.

PS - I would just download it, but I am at work on a PC.

yeah i have to agree. and i'm not going to Register for this sort of info either.

turned off already, but i would possibly give it a try.
 
Oh, I'm going to try if for sure...

Us Mac users NEED a good torrent client. Something that combines the ease of use, and style of Transmission, with the stat reporting, and features of AZ...

Could this be it...?
 
heres a screen shot.

I checked out the forums, and it looks as though the dev is trying to implement selective downloads into the GUI.

now, does it report your stats correctly to the private trackers, or will I have to worry about getting banned????

well, so far I'm sold

very nice GUI, nicer than Trans,

seems quiet light, and my first and only download was fast.

Now, when it gets accepted by a certain tracker that ryhmes with.....Boink..

then it will be my default.
