Hey,
Just upgraded the hard drive in my blackbook, so I was thinking about off-loading the old one? I don't want to pay for a SATA notebook enclosure to throw it in cause they're pretty expensive.. so unless I sell it, it'll just be sitting in my MB's box.
It's been used less than 2 weeks, so it's practically new.
Newegg sells 'em for around $80 + shipping.. so I was thinking of starting this one off at $60 shipped. Anyone interested?
PM or reply here.
Oh, I'd also be interested in trading it for a bluetooth MM if anyone has one. Might consider other trades, as well, so if you have something, feel free to make offers. Thanks!

Nope...iBooks use ATA (PATA), not SATA.

Already been answered, but yeah, WildCowboy is right - it won't work in an iBook. This is for MB/MBP/Mac Minis.
But I did forget to post the speed.. it's 5400rpm.

Just in case you, or a potential buyer is interested - Newegg has a relatively nice 2.5inch sata (usb & external sata) enclosure that will fit this drive. Less than $30. I bought one when I upgrade my blackbook to 160gb, works great.

Nice tip!
Yes, very! I have a sale pending on the HD, but if that falls through and there's no further interest, then I may very well go take a look. Do you think you could post a link to the particular enclosure?
edit: nevermind, found it! it's this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817145393) and comes in both black and silver.

edit: i'm sorry. that was really rude. i'm cranky in the morning. :o
to readers: if you need a 120gb, i'd go with ncstmpr's - was working with her a few weeks back about maybe purchasing/trading her for it, and always had quick communications. i had to bow out because at the time i couldn't afford it (some things came up), but i would have felt really comfortable making the transaction.
