Hi folks, my 15" 1.25ghz powerbook's battery is struggling to maintain an hours worth of charge now. Question is, where is the best place to get a replacement, should I get an Apple one, and what kinda cost am I looking at? I'm in the UK.

Cheers me dears ;)

btw. how long should a new battery last before recharging? Usually doing PS work, iPhoto, and wireless internet access.

First of all, if you haven't already, then check here (https://support.apple.com/ibook_powerbook/batteryexchange/?) to see if your existing battery qualifies for the replacement programme.

I bought a Newer Tech (I think that's the right name) battery from macsales.com. It is a higher capacity battery, and cost $139 US. Don't know if they ship to UK or not, but as far as what I got, I am very happy. Quick shipping, too -- ordered online on Saturday, and had it in my hands on Tuesday.

Good luck!
