Hello, I am not sure if it whines. All I did was restore it and pack it away. I did not hear anything, and I am very picky. I asked him if it did, he says no. But, he also drives the loudest Z06 Corvette you have ever heard, lol. Not sure what you mean by sub revision? He bought it in August from the Apple Store in S.A.

ok. I'm not sure if that is the correct terminology or not,but i believe that they made some changes in thermal paste and firmware along the way to cool the macbook more efficiently and eliminate the moo-ing (supposedly;) )

at any rate, this would be for my sister so i just have to wait to hear back from her... and then i am in class until 2:00pm eastern time.

If not, I am sure he never did it, he is pretty clueless. :o I think the firmware update makes the fans run more, which in returns solves the moo and whine. At least that is what I gathered on the Apple discussion boards. Yes, paypal is fine with me and my paypal addy is my email address. Just let me know if you decide you want it and I will end the ebay auction.
