This has been reported widely, but I still haven't seen the Mac geek pr0n of a disassembly of the 24" showing the MXM module.

Oooooo No! Is this only for the 24inch model? Because I ordered the 17 inch model yesterday morning... Its ok tho because I only had enough money for the 17 inch anyway...

If Apple intend to sell upgrade graphic cards for the iMac 24" the MXM module must be easy accessable just like the RAM modules. I doubt that. I think Apple choosed this standard to make it easier for them to test/install future upgrades and to make the assembly of the different 24" iMacs faster/cheaper.

Remember EFI

I am going to guess that the third party cards are going to have to be EFI compatible. This may be a ways off.
