macbook pro anal questions

I have a Macbook right now and had a Powerbook also, and have been doing 1-3 ever since I have had them and have had no problems what so ever. I have never tried using them in the cold, unless you consider 45 degrees cold. Never had any problems.

1) i carry mine around in sleep mode unless battery is low or i have been using it a while and is pretty toasty. then i turn it off.

2&3) perfectly fine no problem what so ever.

from apple, but im sure you could nudge these a bit +- 10 deg. and +- 1000 feet

Nothing like seeing the condensation on a frosty cold aluminum can, unless it is your Mac.

Just to let you know, using a frosty cold MacBook Pro in a warm humid room isn't a good idea.

However, looking at the tricks for cameras and sensitive electronics, and what to do about condensation during the winter -- is worth considering.

Because, Apple's warranty does not cover damage caused by condensation.

It's a Mac, dont worry about it™

2. Not a problem.

3. You can do it, but I've noticed it does get confused sometimes.

4. It depends on what you mean by the cold but generally, it's highly recommended to use it in a cool place as it fairly burns up if you start using it's full power. To have a MBP run at the same case temperature as my HP nx9420 for example (2.16 Core Duo, X1600 too) you'd probably need to be running it in Siberia

A 15" MacBook Pro? Wow. Just use lots of lube and you should be okay.
