any good places to buy ram? such as buy.com or newegg?

also anythign i should know about as far as mixing brands
 
The most reliable vendors are Datamem.com, OWC (macsales.com) and Crucial.

You can get good deals buying Crucial RAM through NewEgg, but NewEgg does not
guarantee Apple compatibilty.
 
what I did is looked up the memory on the crucial website and found the same memory on mwave for less $.
