Well, on the heels of my recent selling success (well, trading) on the Marketplace, I figured I'd throw my external DVD-RW drive up for grabs as well!

It's a 16x NEC ND3520 with DL burning in a 5.25" Bytecc ME-340 Case. The Case has two Firewire 400 ports and a USB 2.0 port. It also has a little fan to cool the drive.

Specs of the drive:
Transfer Rate Read CD: 48x max
Transfer Rate Read DVD: 16x max
Transfer Rate Write (CD): CD-R: 48x, CD-RW: 24x
Transfer Rate Write (DVD): DVD-R: 16x, DVD-RDL: 4x, DVD-RW: 6x, DVD+R: 16x, DVD+R9: 4x, DVD+RW: 8x

I'm looking to get $80 shipped, though I'd be willing to do a straight trade for a PCI IDE controller card for a G4 Powermac.

Thanks!

Sorry, in a hurry to get the cash, so it's been Ebay'd! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220026514145) I'll still pull it for a MR member if you have a PCI IDE controller card, but other than that.. bid!

Dang it, I just sold my Sonnett Tempo a few months ago too... :(

FYI.....if your DVD/case set-up is really worth $80, you'd be rippin yourself off by trading it for a used controller card, which can generally be had on ebay for ~$35-50 (at least thats what mine fetched anyway)

Well, I haven't found any new Mac cards that go for under $70, unfortunately, and I can't seem to locate any used ones anywhere. It's frustrating, especially since similar cards for PC's go for $15 or so. If you can point me in the direction of any lower priced Mac cards, though, I'd appreciate it very much.

Yea I know new cards arent cheap. But I bought my Tempo, and the Firmtek SATA card that replaced it, over at MacNN's Marketplace forum.
At around those same times, I saw a few of both cards over at [H]ard forums too, but they were just slightly higher priced than the ones I bought

The one and only bump this will get.

There's a day and a half left on the auction, and it's gotten to the point where I'm not that interested in a straight trade anymore, but will consider a trade for a controller card and a hard drive (I'd throw in some cash). Just putting that out there, in case anyone was interested, before the auction closes.

Thanks.
