I think this is a pretty fair deal for an extra gig of RAM I have - it is basically orphaned RAM from a Macbook Pro, and is only a few months old.

I'm asking $50 shipped.

Just an update. The seller sent me 2 sticks of 128MB DDR DIMM. Not even close to the 1GB for a Macbook Pro.

I started a dispute in paypal. He says he is "looking" for it. To me this seems very deliberate. However I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I told him I would give him a few days to look for it, if not i expect a full refund.

Wow a lot of people are breathing a sigh of relief. How can you mix up 2 pieces of 128 for 1 piece of 1gb ?

Sorry for your problems Suneohair

You know that saying, about how things to good to be true usually are?
The 1 GB sticks of OWC sell for $118 on their website.
Since 1 GB sticks are the largest that will fit in a MBP,
how would it be orphaned from the computer?
That threw up flags on my end.

Words of truth.

I can see how someone can mistake a 1GB memory stick for a 128MB memory stick, but 2 sticks?!

Yeah, he refunded me. Personally I will be avoiding him in the future.

There is no excuse for this, he gave a refund which is fine. But he took $50 from me for 2 weeks. Maybe he just needed some cash but that is unacceptable.

Be cautious folks.
