How to download artwork (iTunes 7) withouth an account?

I want to download artwork (with iTunes 7), but I live in Mexico and I don't have a credit card with billing adress of USA. Is there a way to download the artwork without having an account. Or is there a way of making an account without credit card?

The problem is that you need an account to use that feature. And I can't creat an account because there is no Mexico iTunes Store. And I don't have an american credit card.
 
Well, I guess I will never be able to use that feature. I don't know why they ask you for an account. Or if they want to have some information about you, why do you need to have a credit card.

They obviously know that not all the iTunes users live in USA or in places with an iTunes Store. So why make it impossible for this people?
Why can't they just make a world-wide store like many companies in the world? Everything is made over the internet, so there is no problem of shipping.
The vast majority of stores let me buy with my mexican credit card, and they ship it to an adress I have there in the US.

And yes, I am a little angry I guess.

Edit: didn't read the post above.....so if I buy a gift card I would be able to make an account?

They can't do that because of licensing issues.

Hey, there's a way: having a credit card with a billing address in USA.

Where I live (Guatemala) there are a couple of banks that have the "American Visa" option where you get your international credit card that uses the physical address of a north american bank (by partnership) and you can buy like if you were in the US.

However, you must adquire first a credit card with that bank (which sucks if you have one with another one), then pay around $50-100 for the american visa option, and usually, have a permission from the US Embassy in your contry.

If in this country there are 2 banks that give you that option, I guess that if you investigate well there in Mexico you will find much more options.

I'm sure i managed to register in itunes ireland without a credit card so you may want to try some of the other itunes stores around the world?
 
I believe all you need is an Apple ID from the online Apple Store. I created an Apple account a few weeks ago, and when I downloaded iTunes 7 yesterday I inputted my Apple ID email/password combination. I was then able to download the album artwork.

But the problem is that for the Apple ID you need a credit card with billing adress of one of the countries with stores available.

Not if you have credit in the store already (gift card, gifted tracks, etc...). You still need an address, but it could be 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20500 Phone: 202-456-1414.

Apparently the guy who lives there has an iPod too.

Sorry, I created my Apple ID right before making a purchase at the Apple Store. I knew I needed a credit card to make the purchase, but I do not recall what I needed for the Apple ID registration.
