We now see the president, latin name "presidentus americum idiotica" begin the long road towards discovering the abilities an opposable thumb brings. Notice the extension of the fore finger - the president, in time, will learn to bring the tip of that finger into contact with the tip of the thumb. This will allow the president to grasp things - something he is incapable of doing now.

Will he be gradually building up to four fingers (assuming he can count that far) and raising his arm a little?

(Delegated/relegated fingering: Some suggested captions:)
Woman: "Hey, let's show Richard what Democracy in Iraq looks like."
Bush: "Put that thing away before he has a heart attack."
or
"And how many voters were there in Falluja again?"

Hearing his speech on the radio was pointless.

Hearing his speech on the radio was pointless.
Nothing new really. Doubt it'll do anything more than speak more to his ever shrinking base. You know, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Stay the course indeed.

I'd personally love to see a bag of pretzels endorsed by Bush. Now that'd be funny as hell.
Maybe he keeps picking up his finger to pick his nose, then realizes hes on live TV. :D

The first thing that came to mind was.... I'm quite sure...... NOT what you intended and spawned the following response:
"I'm pretty sure he's been up to the wrist for at least six years now.... Judging by how damn sore we all are these days."

I think you should call him President Bush. Everyone still Calls Bill Clinton president Clinton even though he has not been president for many years.

He's not my president, I'll stick with "Monkeyface" for now.
And as for Clinton, I think the parody of Groundhog Day suited him the best:
"Pantslesshorny Bill"
Mind you, I refer to my PM as "Little Johnny" almost exclusively so the lack of respect for authority isn't just for overseas leaders - it's a built-in part of our national psyche. After all, we as a nation do not have a single law enforcement hero in the vein of the US's Wyatt Earp, all our historically romanticised heroes have been bushrangers and outlaws.

I have no respect at all for the man, I certainly won't refer to him as president. Dumbass, Dubya, failure, chimpanzee and ***** for brains are all acceptable names though.
