Excel 2004 Crashes on OS X when trying to do macros

When I try to open a file with macros in it I get: "The application Excel quit unexpectedly. Mac OS X and other applications are not affected...." The file was opened a couple of weeks ago and worked fine on my mac. The only thing that I have done since then is install Equation Editor. I thought the file just got corrupted but I have the original in my e-mail and it won't open either. I attached a copy of the crash report. Anyone know what the problem is?
