playlists from Windows-iTunes to Mac-iTunes

A relative has switched to a macbook and transfered iTunes music from a folder from the previous windows setup. But only the tracks are imported.

How do you transfer the playlists as well?

Did your relative copy over the "iTunes Library.itl" file as well as all the other files... If so you should have brought your playlists etc. oevr as well as the tunes themselves.
