Is there ANY way to get my wireless HP mouse I got as gift to work with Mac OS X?
I hate to just to be able to use it in Windows XP...

ok i don't think i've ever seen a mouse that is windows-only. i'm sure some exist but usually they work with Macs, too, even if there are no drivers or other support information.

apparently you plug this into a USB port so i would plug it in and restart the computer while it's plugged in and then see if the mouse works.

interesting that only the scroll wheel is working. does it show up in system preferences?

Some of the buttons won't work. You won't get them to work. The rest will work.

I tried restarting the computer with it plugged in. The scroll button isn't working anymore. It might have been a fluke.

if it doesn't show up in system preferences, it won't work. sell it and get one that works with your Mac!
