Well, I've since sold it, but what the heck. Here's my old G3:

I'd take a picture of my in-progress G4 to ATX case conversion, but somehow I don't think that's what you're looking for...

Yes, I agree, the Quicksilver had the best exterior styling of any G4 PM.

Well, I was inspired by this mod (which is truly awesome) which is by a fellow MR member:

And I haven't gotten that far yet as I'm waiting for parts still, but here's what I've got so far:

I LOVE my Sawtooth. I make sweet love to it. lol. Too bad it has to be revealed with a 20 dollar camera. :(

And I got a "Black" G3, and a tray-loading iMac. Awesome stuff.

Not mine but sooo lovely.

I was thinking of buying one used as my first mac... but they are still way over priced. Some guy I found locally with one wanted $800 for the tower alone.

I'm not sure what's wrong with it. Pretty sure the motherboard is fried.
Here are some photos of it from back in the day:

I love that Cube, it's so damn nice looking. Have you thought about a processor upgrade on it as well? If you are, I would personally say to stay away from Powerlogix - I've had three fault CPU upgrades for them (which took forever to replace), the last of which probably fried my mobo.

I'm not buying that upgrade yet.And when I buy,it will be GigaDesigns/Sonnet/OWC.

1,6Ghz or maybe dual...who knows..;)

For me, the cube would be way too slow, but i LOVE the design. Plus that gorgeus acrylic display........only fits with qs and cube G4s.......:o <3<3<3

You don't know what you saying. If you change Cube CPU,it's lot faster than someone else.

Dual 1,6Ghz with 2MB L3 cache will be really fast..

Oh, I know that, If I had one, I'd definitely go dual 1.8 ;)

Yeah, I had a Dual 1.5Ghz in mine, and damn, that thing flew. It was insane. Of course, it would also go to temps of over 80 degrees, with two internal fans, but it was really fast!

It won't boot, I've tried everything including replacing the PRAM-Battery. So I think it has something to do with the motherboard. And no I'm going to keep it, it a piece of art!

:( that sux. Tried switching around or taking out some RAM? It worked for me on old Macs that I haven't booted up in ages.

I gotta have me a cube, even if it means i got to stop paying my bills and live on the streets!

Yeah, I tried with other RAM sticks to but it didn't help. I tried with another hdd it didn't help. I tried with another graphiccard it didn't help. And it won't boot from a cd or a FireWire disk. It's so sad...
