I just burned a file onto a CDRW with my PB17. After I ejected and reloaded the CD, it is telling me that I cannot write or erase data on it. What's that all about? I thought I can write and rewrite up to 1000 times... am I doing something wrong?

I'm not sure

I don't know if I did or not. But maybe that's it. Thanks! I'll try it again.

I'm almost positive that this statement is incorrect.

Finalizing a session doesn't allow anything else to be written to that CD in it's current state. If you finalize a CD-R, you won't be able to add anything. If you finalize a CD-RW, you cannot add data without first formatting/erasing the CD.

Right-O. Somethings going wrong. Try Erasing like others said.
