Go here (https://register.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/GlobaliReg.woa) and register it yourself.

I couldn't find any information regarding AppleCare on it.

Yes, but you have to write a letter to Apple to tell them that you wish to transfer the AppleCare.
