i've previously attempted beta 2, pre-rc1, in hope that they'll work better or at least just as well usability wise... but apparently that won't happen... now i'm trying RC1 again, still kind of disappointing at the hardware support..
now i know there's alternative ways around this, but i kept on getting this error message
Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation.
Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.
has anyone body received such error message?
i know i can extract the drivers from the disk... but with that there are many things still not working, e.g.
eject button (it has worked in pre-RC1, but reproduce the same procedure does not reproduce the result..)
brightness contrl (i heard some ppl got it work, some insight?)
isight .. plain and simple, doesn't work, despite how it's claimed to be installed and stuff

graphic card (with the ati supplied driver for vista)
