Apple store opening in Providence Place Mall (updated: w/ pics)

Is annyone planning on attending? I think i'm gonna go. (85% sure)
Where is it located in the mall? Also what's the tax in R.I. I might buy myself a new present (2g nano) I'm debating if the tax will be cheaper in RI or in MA?

Having left Providence in the dust this past June, I don't think I can bring myself to go back, even for such a noble cause.

I'll be in Maine this weekend, anyways. I need a rocky beach to shiver on.

Hey, I just got back. It was great. I heard people were there at 2:00AM. I was at the front of the second line right at the info booth.

My friend, take a quck drive up 93 to the Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH, no sales tax there and a shorter drive.

Skimmed this thread and the other thread on the opening to see if I would catch a glimpse of any former students in the photos.

Thus my reaction to the opening is "I can't believe how white this event was."

I mean, it's perfectly sensible that an Apple store opening in Providence would draw a largely white audience. And my shock probably isn't justifiable.

Doesn't make me any less shocked, though.
