so i'm thinking of purchasing this display for my macbook. does anyone think this is a bad purchase? i can't really find anything wrong with it, especially for the price.

That doesn't look like a bad display. The response time is pretty good and so is the contrast. For $299 I don't think you can really go wrong, it has VGA, it has DVI so that's good. I'd try and search around the internet for reviews on the screen. Just type in the Name and model along with the word review in a Google search and you should see if anyone has found anything wrong with it. You may also want to try a site like http://www.epinions.com Good luck 🙂

Acer displays are supposedly quite decent. Not an Apple display, but sure is cheaper.

well i can finally get into my bank account tomorrow (forgot wallet 3 hours away)

what do you guys think would be the best buy

acer is a better name than sceptre (has anyone even heard of them??). i'd opt for that of those two.
