A sad day has dawned for techound1's Home for Wayward Wallstreets. After refurbing many a homeless and discarded lappy for donation to low income families, we've decided the scarcity (and therefore rising price) of some crucial parts is making the project cost-prohibitive.

If you are looking for just about any Wallstreet part, please PM or post and we've probably got it.

You can check out some of the bigger-ticket stuff on ebay:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZtechound1QQhtZ-1

We'll end any auction early for any forum members interested in purchasing anything listed there.

Will sell cheaply to forum members!

Thanks to everyone who supported our efforts with parts, good humor, and advice!

Looking for: back port cover, battery, pram battery, ram, 14" screen, 300mhz processor card, 2nd gen logic board

I've got the port cover, battery (charges to 4 lights), smaller sticks of ram (64 to 128), and pram battery (one brand new, two original and of unknown life).

I've got a 14" upper half (including lcd, frame, and case) - lmk how much of that you need. I've got a 233 processor (w/L2 cache I believe).

I have three logic boards and I believe they are all 2nd gen.

LMK what you would like, where you are, and I'll give you a shipped quote on the package.

What condition is the 14" upper half in, and do you know how much of a charge the battery holds?

The upper half is in very good condition - this one even includes the hinges. I haven't timed the battery, but I believe it holds a good charge.
