I'd like to team with friends in a co-operatve environment- either Mac or xbox. Any suggestions that will let pals take on bad guys in a FPS?

Halo for XBox and I'm not sure about Mac. You can play Quake 3 with AI in the arena maps. pretty fun.

on xbox - most tom clancy games (also some of the most fun)
I have been hooked on brothers in arms sine the first day it came out and the earned in blood brothers in arms is co-op and on live also as is the the newest versions of the tomclancy games. I am waiting for the hell's highway and then i will get a x360

Thanks for the suggestions.

Always seemed kinda odd to me that there are seemingly few co-op games. What could be more natural than teaming with buddies to storm the castle/pill box/alien horde/gangster hideout?

Guess xbox is the way to go.

I played a lot of Timesplitters 2 co-op on the Gamecube. Felt like Goldeneye to me (yes I know the links between TS and Goldeneye ;) ).

Streets of Rage 2 had what I'd consider the best co-op. Along with Yo Joe! on the Amiga.
