I have a couple of DVDs that I would like to extract the music from as these tracks aren't available on CD. What freeware can I do this with?
The files are currently in a video folder as VOB files.

Frag the .plist to get more recording time...

Audio Hijack just records the audio again, if I'm not mistaken. In real time. Doesn't extract the audio. There IS a mac program that can do this. Rip the ac3 dvd audio to a 16bit aiff file. Let me hunt for it.
(DVD:rip does this in Linux, fyi if there are any Linux users out there)

0sex is good if you need to rip the DVD. I think it will let you rip the actual ac3 audio stream.

and
mAC3dec can decode that ripped ac3 into aiff. I think mAC3dec can just take vob files directly, also, but I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure it cannot work from a vob; you need the ac3.
