Ok....A friend of mine (ChrisG) visited the Apple shop and took his phone. These pics are of his phone and the new iPod nano so you can get some sizes.

You know that little picture of a flower on your digital camera? HIT THAT BUTTON when you are going to shoot something that is less than 6 inches from your camera!

There has been such a push for everyone to get the greatest digital camera out there, that everyone has forgotten the most important aspects: Framing your shot, depth of field, lighting. Please people, at least read your users manuals.

Yeah I do notice that a lot of people have no idea how to use their digital camera other than on the Auto function. Maybe we should make an Official thread about it :D (cause I love those).

seriously, what's the point of a picture if it only looks good from about 10 feet away? use the macro function!!

I'd rather see no pictures than these. For the love of photography, learn your craft or leave the image posting to others.

Hahaha, boy I didn't think I'd generate so much feedback after posting originally but I guess I got the ball rolling now.

1) i didnt take the pictures (blame ChrisG:o )
2) the pictures are taken on his phone....so its proberbly not even advanced enough to have a auto focus:eek:
