I am a newbie when it comes to MACs. I am planning on jumping ship from PCs and was looking at the Mac Mini. I want to make sure that I will be able to run some windows programs and also be able to use Leopard when it ships. I am not a computer gamer, so the graphics (other than being able to watch a DVD) are not that important. What I want to know is, will a Mac Mini do what I need or will I HAVE to go with an iMac? Since I'm only a novice when it comes to Apple products, I was hoping I could get some good advice.

Thanks

All you say is that you are not a gamer and you want to watch DVD's. The mini will be fine for that and for most other basic activities. If you do not already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse, though, the iMac is a better value. Best wishes.
