Jease dude some of us like to have stuff like that on our dashboard. It is just a thing to remind us that it is on its way. No need to be mr. negativity Jease....

As for the widget, it does look pretty darn crappy, but it'll be on my Dashboard until a better-looking one comes out.

Navigate to \Users\username\Library\Widgets, control-click on Wii.wdgt, choose Show Package Contents. Change the default.png to whatever picture you like. Edit the source of wii.html and and change the date on the following line to your region's release date.
