Hi guys,

Ive decided to just use my mac mini as a music centre and want a fairly cheap but good quality apple studio display for it.

Ideally would like 17" but if anyone has 15" feel free to let me know about it.

One of these...

Thanks!

PS - I can collect with cash from London, or pay via Paypal.

Yea Ive seen that, £215 for a second hand 17" monitor over 4 years old, is pretty rediculous in my opinion.

- Thats $406 btw USA members

In fairness, considering the cost of these when they came out was nearly $800 I think that's a pretty good market value, besides they are extrememly hard to come by so I think £199 (boxed) is probably a more than fair price. You will struggle to track one much lower I'm afraid.
Besides arent you both in london, couldnt you meet the seller and save £15 shipping by collecting in personally...

I could, but like I said im not willing to pay 200 for it.

Ive tracked numerous 17" studio displays and have seen them go for 130-150 on a fairly regular basis, im looking to spend slightly less than this, as I said in my original post I want it only to view itunes on my mini as its now simply a music HD. :)

I'd probably be happy with a 15" too.

But thanks for taking a look on ebay for me :)

PS - mxlews, if your reading this, check your PM's buddy

I have a friend who will probably be looking to sell his 15" Studio Display in a few weeks. What sort of price would you be willing to offer?

I wouldnt have a clue for a 15", maybe just see what your friend wants for it and let me know :)
