Need clarification on battery conditioning - ASAP

Am I supposed to use it right out of the box, allow it to drain completely, then charge it fully...

Or fully charge it initially, then drain completely, then re-charge it?

fully drain then fully recharge.

Thanks. The local Apple store told me to fully charge first...so I did that. Oh well...I'm sure I'll be fine either way.
