I am a college student right now. In high school I used a daily planner. It had spaces for each day of the week for the whole year, where I could write assignments, things to study for tonight, etc. I am looking for an app that does this. It need to be more than a to do list, because I need to be able to write down projects due several months away. Anyone have any ideas?

ical is working great for me at college. Especially since it syncs perfectly with google calendar.

I also suggest iCal would work for you - esp if you can sync them through .mac - anywhere access is pretty cool

I'd also highly recommend Merlin http://www.projectwizards.net/en/merlin/overview - you can import and export with iCal - and if you really want to work effectively - this tool really shows you were time is wasted. The gant charts are really effective here too - for meetings with supervisors etc
