Setting up mighty mouse for tabbed browsing?

Is there any way to set up the mighty mouse so that the scroll button, when clicked, will open a safari link in a new tab. And likewise, scroll-clicking on a tab will close it? This is how I used to use the internet with my pc, and I'd like to do the same with the macbook.

EDIT: I figured it out... button 3. is there anything else this button does now other than tabbed browsing?
