Does anyone know if Apple has any holiday promotions like purchase a mac and get a free iPod like they do during back to school season or anything like that?

There's usually a discount sale during Thanksgiving. I got my Airport Express for $96 that way.

Last year in the US, i think there was a small discount but only in the US and not a huge discount

Essentially it gave the average consumer an academic discount on the iBook/iMac. You had some discounts on accessories as well.

For the last 2 years they had some kind of special on "Black Friday", the day after thanksgiving, don't know if that was only in-store or web store too though...
