I'd like to know what everyone has plugged in (USB/Firewire/other) to your mac right now. Maybe you have something that I might want to compulsively buy.
I have...
12X CD Burner
5 GB iPod
Floppy Drive
Black Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo
iMic
Sonnet JBL 3 piece speakers
HP Printer
Your turn!!

I have a TiBook, so usually just a mouse. But I do only use my Mac for pulling the photos off of my camera. The PC just stinks for that.

when i first got my blueberry ibook, i just had an epson 740 printer and kept all my stuff on the hard drive...that was 1999 and i considered getting an external floppy drive
after i retired the epson printer and now have a lexmark printer, i added an epson scanner, iomega zip 100, and a cheap digital camera
i am very simple with my needs and the only thing i would really want is a better digital camera
but when i decide to replace this mac with an lcd imac, 800 ibook, or 12 inch powerbook... and get firewire, oooo-ahhhh, then i would like to get faster peripherals and retire everything i have right now
a zip 750 would be nice, better printer, better scanner, and an ipod
and definitely, os x would be the way to go...even if i just got the 800 mhz ibook because the mobile g3 chip, the 750fx, has 512k level 2 cache, and that should be enough for me

It varies, into the Ti book, mostly the iPod and a ProTools M-box for location recording, plus a pair of Sennheiser headphones.
Into the eMac, a USB hub with an Epson 870 inkjet, a cannon scanner, a MIDI interface and a cable for the Fuji Finepix stills camera, there's a Roland 4 octave MIDI keyboard, a MOTU 828 firewire audio interface connected to a small Mackie mixer and a pair of Dynaudio BM6 active monitors. I've also got an old Lacie CD burner and a Maxtor 80-gig firewire HD.
Often I'll borrow a digi video camera from the uni, as I've only got an analog camcorder...
The Ti goes in on Target Disc mode on a trailing firewire lead that double for the iPod
The iPod gets moved around a lot.:D
Standard keyboard and mouse.
I just love plug n play.

Comparitively little really but i make up for it with the monitors ;)
PowerMac G4 350
Mitsubishi 17"
Philips 17"
Belinea 17"
Sony 15" LCD
Separates hifi
TV-out (although i can't use it at the same time as one of the monitors)
Ethernet to 100mbit switch
Oldish Fujifilm digital camera (ok, so it's not connected at this precise second...)
Everything else that i need is connected to other machines accessed over the local network - CD-R is in my PC, cablemodem also goes through the PC; scanner and printer connected to my parents' iMac. Got a 1GB Jaz drive sitting in the drawer as well - never really trusted it to work properly.
Actually never used the firewire ports in the 3.5 years i've had it.

Heh. I originally bought the Mitsubishi with the mac (with the standard Rage 128 gfx card) and had the Belinea connected to my PC. The PC runs linux so i rarely used the monitor and bought another Rage 128 so i could connect it to the mac.
One of the companies i work for was replacing their monitor so wanted rid of the old one (the Philips) - i certainly wasn't going to say no to a free monitor :) I needed some way of connecting it so i got a Radeon 7000 which of course is a dual card. I just recently got the LCD in the same way as the Philips (and from the same company)
I don't *need* that many monitors really, but it only really cost me the price of the graphics cards (and since the Radeon is PCI i can use it in a new mac) and actually it does come in handy. I do a lot of (remote) server admin and web development. it means i can have Terminal windows open watching the server logs and when i'm doing development work i tend to have a lot of windows open (2 browsers, MySQL shell, linux shell or two, 5 or 6 BBEdit windows). The only annoying thing about it is that i quite often "loose" the mouse pointer - and the fact the terminal uses the bar cursor after you copy & paste doesn't help.

Yeah, 3 video cards and a SCSI card (which is never used) = no slots left. The computer itself isn't that fast really, in fact it's deathly slow sometimes but hey, can't have everything :)
