I don't get why they are comparing phones as iPod alternatives since iPods obviously don't have that kind of functionality (yet..)

The menu on the Creative Zen Vision I have to say looked neat (colors and stuff), but the rest of it was just awful.

Most of Creative's players work with iTunes

Both I think. My MuVo Slim was recognized by iTunes.

Samsung YP -K5 is a looker but does not support macs so I don't support it:)

I had awful luck with Windows Media Player and using an iRiver flash player. Stuff would sometimes get corrupted during transfers, or just not transfer at all.
