Or can you only play them in the order they are on the screen.

Thanks.

I don't know about actual saved slideshows, but when you select photos and press Play in the toolbar, it gives you the option to Shuffle Slide Order. Does this help? :o

Click on play from the main iTunes window, and this screen should pop up.

Choose 'shuffle slides' and you're all set.

The option seems to be removed in iPhoto 6. This is the slideshow dialog that I get:

I'm using iPhoto 6 as well. In fact, if you start with an existing slideshow, and click 'settings' you get the screen you posted:

However, if you choose an album from the main window, and click 'play' on the toolbar you get the window I posted:

Both using iPhoto 6

Hmm, when I click play I don't get any windows.

So Nuks, you select an album or a series of photos in the library (but not a current saved slideshow), you press Play in the bar at the bottom, and it just automatically starts playing the slideshow without showing you the settings screen? Are you sure you're not already in a saved slideshow? Are you using Photo 6?

As a side note, why is the option removed from saved slideshows?

As a side note, why is the option removed from saved slideshows? :confused:Presumably because the slideshow is kept as it was once saved.

Fair point, but I'd still like the option there should I want to change my mind on the order the photos are displayed in. Ahh well, can't have everything... :o
