My question would be, "why?" You describe basically a notebook computer-sized device with no keyboard.

If you want something along the lines of a portable iTV with a display, it would have to have a smaller display to be feasible in terms of battery life and weight.

If you'd prefer something along the lines of Microsoft's Origami portable computer, you'd want more than an embedded processor to keep up with the demand.

Basically, the product is overkill for a portable DVD player and underpowered for a portable media PC, so choosing an identity for this device would make or break it. Either way, 10GB of storage would be flash-based--there's not a lot of point to a hard drive smaller than 30GB.
