Ok .
You told me how to rename my baby.
How come it comes up under my *old name when I buy a song from the Apple store?
Thanks Duke ;)

WildCowboy to the rescue...once he figures out what's going on.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean...can you describe it a bit more fully or post a screenshot of what you're talking about? Where does your "old name" come up?

( I'm a happily married woman :D
When I go to buy a song from the apple online store, you have to sign in confirm your id and password to download the music.
My Id still comes up under my old name, not the new one.
any ideas?
Thanks :)

Okay...so you're talking about your "Apple ID," which is different from the name of your iPod.

In iTunes while you're viewing the Store, there should be a button near the top right that says "Sign In" or contains your Apple ID, which is an e-mail address. This is what you want to change, right?

Click on the button with your Apple ID in it (or sign in first if you're not already) and enter your password, then click "View Account." It'll take you to a screen where you can enter a new e-mail address which will also be your new Apple ID.

Is that what you're looking for?
