Ive been using my laptop a lot lately, for expended periods of time, and its getting a little uncomfortable on my wrists. Does anyone use elbow pads of some description to hellp with this? Can anyone recommend any that might be good?

How are you using your laptop...are you sitting, standing or laying down...these all play a factor. Try positioning yourself a little better and see how you will feel.

Ill need them when i sit at my desk, my laptop (MBP) is a little more than a forearms length away from the edge, i rest my wrists on the bits next to the track pad. I try to keep them off, but them my albows hurt.

would something lke this (http://microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0201014) help?

I've also seen a combination laptop stand and wrist rest, but I can't find it now. :(

good posture improves the pain that comes with computing very much so.

would an external keyboard help?

I need something to bring the rest of my forearm up to the height of my mbp to keep my arms level.
