I thought everything was great when I moved my speakers across the room to free up some space on my desk, until I tried to watch a movie. Any ideas how to get the system sound to go to the AE and then to my speakers?

There's Airfoil (http://www.rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/mac/) for sending audio from apps other than iTunes, but it won't help your situation. The latency (http://rogueamoeba.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=19&nav=0) inherent in the AirPort Express playback makes it unsuitable for video (http://rogueamoeba.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=8&nav=0).

Some people have had limited success by tweaking the delay of the video stream in conjunction with Airfoil, but it apparently takes a lot of trail and error. What video player are you using? Most people have had success with VLC and a lot of tweaking.:D

Luckily the AUX cable to my speakers is long enough to reach across the room (dorm rooms are tiny) so when I'm watching a movie or TV, I can just string it across the room.
