I just got a Powermac that I'm going to fix up since I already have some parts for it and I can get them cheap and blah blah...

But anywayz.....

It comes with a 128MB stick which is PC100 and I have two other spare 128MB sticks, but they're PC133, I know that you can put PC133 sticks in Macs, but they'll revert to PC100 speeds, but I need to know if its ok to mix the two without any problems.

Thanx,

-V

There is no problem with compatibility.

In the slower machine YES... :D

In a faster machine, no. :p

The faster than needed memory should mean that you won't have to worry about some of the marginal memory that is out there.

Ok, thanx everyone, took me awhile to find the sticks but now I know they'll work with no problems.http://forums.macrumors.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=258478
