Just got an e mail from apple saying the emac prices had been dropped if bought at the apple store for education. The base model, "configured for education only," with

700MHz PowerPC G4
128MB SDRAM
40GB Ultra ATA drive
CD-RW drive
No Modem

is going for $779. The 700 Mhz with combo is $949, and the emac 800/60/256/super is $1149. I know everyone likes the imacs better, but any way you cut it, $780 for a 700 Mhz G4 is nice! And $1150 for an 800 Mhz G4 and a superdrive isn't bad either!
