I was wondering if 18004MEMORY is a reliable source of memory?
I am looking to buy a 512mb stick for my 17"Powerbook, and they have em for $92, but is it worth it?...if not is there any other reliable memory that is not to expensive?

That's my supplier. In all the years I have been purchasing, I've never once had a bad chip. And the tech's there are knowledgeable and kind.

Are you talking about 18004MEMORY or transintl?

I've used 18004Memory for 7 years and never a problem. In my opinion the only thing that matters is that they guarantee it to work with your system and that the chip has a lifetime guarantee other then that who cares who you get it from.

i think i got my gig of ram for my tibook from 18004memory. no problems with it.

or...i might have gotten it from tranintl....

either way, just get memory with a lifetime warranty. it can go bad.

I've purchased RAM from 1800memory several times and I bought my hard drive from tansintl (as well a few other people I know). Both are great and I have never had a problem. It basically comes down to price.

I bought all 3 of the 512 MB sticks that I've got in my Cube from 18004memory, and they work like a charm. The folks there were really nice the one time I did have a problem, too. The warranty is great, and the best part is that it's usually unnecessary. I highly recommend them.

The memory I ordered from them was fine.

Shipped good, only thing I had a problem with was tracking whatever service your using ask them for the tracking number if your impatient like me. :D

You can order from 18004memory, or you can order a metal paperweight.

The prices on the site are always competitive, and I have found it to be very effecient.

Do you mean? ........or you could order a silicon encrusted circuit board paper weight.:)
