Sandisk dead?

I have a Sandisk Mini Cruzer 4.0gb, was working fine. I lent it to a friend who's on a PC who told me even after attempting to format it it was not being recognized. I plugged it back into my mac and nothing appears on my desktop. What can i do? :/

Try to send it back to Sandisk if it doesn't get detected on your Mac too.

Sandisks are very unreliable, you really should have read Amazon.com reviews before purchasing that, like every other reviewer there posted the same outcome as you experienced.

Edit: hell I'd get a refund on that if I can and buy a portable hard drive or even an iPod to use as a USB disk!

have you tried opening Disk utility? if so does it recognize anything is there?

doesn't recognize under disk util.
